Die Zahnkupplung greift in eine Riemenscheibe am Klima-Kompress or und überträgt somit die Kraft vom Fahrzeugmotor auf den von Valeo hergestellten Kompressor. "Die Kupplung gleicht Kraftspitzen aus und sorgt damit für einen gleichmäßigen, weichen Lauf des Kompressors&qu ot;, erklärt ContiTech-Entw icklungsingeni eur Hendrik Heitjans. Dabei muss das Material sowohl den Umgebungstempe raturen im Motorraum von bis zu 120 °C als auch Salzwasser und Chemikalien aus Wischwasserzus ätzen und ölhaltigen Flüssigkeiten standhalten.
